Sliding Windows
Sliding windows operate in a horizontal fashion to allow for full top to bottom ventilation on ½ of the overall space. They have a contemporary gliding design where at least one sash slides across the other. Some people find this easier to open than lifting or cranking. Sliding windows are good for high traffic areas such as decks and walkways because they don’t project in or out from the house. The screens are located on the outside of the sash and are easily removable from inside the home when desired.
