Just wanted to let you know that I was very pleased with your crew that completed the work on my townhouse. They were quick, competent and cheerful. A good team together.Thank you to Brock and Tracy for keeping the communication going before “installation” too.Cheers.
We live in a float home, which has its nuances when it comes to structural work. So we are careful when engaging work of this nature. I had a previous excellent experience with WCW and chose to come back to them for this project. I was well rewarded. The product is first class and the installation team of Dustin, Gibson and Kyle were fantastic. They took their mission to a different level making sure that we had the most positive experience possible. When they left there was absolutely nothing left for us to do. We give them the highest recommendation possible.
I had a great experience with West Coast Windows. They offered a more than competitive price and a high quality product. They were responsive when I had questions, and my installation experience was really positive. I'd recommend them and use them again!
We wanted to bring to your attention that as first time customers we were very impressed with the service we received from the people we dealt with at West Coast Windows. Will was terrific in helping us to pick out the products we needed. Tracy helped us so much to get the job installed on schedule, as we had time pressures to deal with at our end.We also have to make a special mention on the install of the windows and sliding patio doors. Eugene took into account all of our questions and concerns and he handled the work in such a professional and skilled way, he deserves a big commendation. So do the men on his crew, Pierce and Dan.They worked so hard every minute they were here and the quality of workmanship was beyond our expectations. I hope you will pass our compliments to all those we dealt with including Rachel in accounting.Thank you all.Don and Carolyn Nordin
Well we got our windows and french door in and they look great! NIck and Eugene were great to deal with. They both are very professional and knowledgeable. Eugene was especially accommodating and helpful. He had a particularly challenging place to work in as we were ripping up our back yard at the same time. He also took the time to go over options for finishing around the windows (we are replacing the interior wood paneling with gyproc) and he did a great job making a transition piece to bring the flooring up to the door. Thanks again for making this happen!
The windows and door at our home are finally finished. The installers were great and we love the new look and functionality of the new windows and door.
Terrific experience all around! Starting with the excellent sales person Nick and the installers Eugene and Pierce I have nothing but positive things to say. The windows look beautiful and the whole process was effortless. We were also very pleased with the reasonable price of the five windows that were installed. I would highly recommend West Coast Windows.
Just wanted to let you know that everyone is extremely happy with their new windows. Kris and his installation team did a great job. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend your firm to others.
Windows look great! The Installers were very experienced and did a great job!
We have used West Coast twice having had both a good experience (our old house) and a bad experience (our current house).I would not recommend West Coast to working professionals where you are not home during the day to supervise their work. They relied on us to check their work and inform them of things they had missed. Our job included replacement of 20 windows and 1 patio door in our 2800 sq ft house. They completed the work in two and half days, one of which we received record rainfall (in April 2017). They initially told us they would not replace windows during heavy rain, however they did anyways. We had over 11 deficiencies including not properly sealing the windows, not re-securing the siding, broken drywall, scraps to the window sills and exterior trim, a large dent in the kitchen flooring and sloppy interior caulking. We pre-painted all of the exterior trim which they scraped up during installation and slopped putty all over them. It took me another three full days on a ladder re-sanding and re-painting all of them. Also due to their sloppy interior caulking lines we also now have to repaint all 20 window stills. Before we hired them they told us that we would not need to paint after they were done.Perhaps more concerning was how they handled the deficiencies. After they said they had completed the job and were reluctant to return to finish the job. Many of the windows were left without sealing them properly as many windows had no exterior caulking around them. I voiced my concern that they left without sealing the windows properly during heavy rain and they responded that they didn't have available staff to finish the job and that it was okay if water gets inside the building envelop. They said that their installers would not be available for at least 6 weeks as they were required on a larger job. After a discussion that this was unacceptable they did send an installer to finish the exterior caulking but took them another 2 weeks to remedy most of the other problems. We are still waiting, nearly three months now, for them to replace a deficient window that has a large mark on the inside of the glazing. They applied a small credit for all the damage and deficiencies but it didn't come close to the what is cost us in materials (e.g., paint) and time off work to remedy all of the issues.
We strive for complete customer satisfaction and sincerely apologize for any inconvenience on this job.
Geoff is a repeat customer for West Coast Windows and we value and appreciate his business. His previous home that we built windows for was a lot simpler and a completely different type of window installation. This current order was a “new construction” type of install and there is always work to be done after our crew has left.
It was made clear to the client that even though he pre-painted the lengths of wood trims, he will still need to sand and paint before the job is 100% complete. The pre-painting helps with cutting in where the window meets the trim and the trim meets the siding but it won’t take away the painting prep work always needed after a window installation. The sealing of the window is our first priority and one of the reasons we can offer a lifetime warranty on the product and installation. We apologize that the job has taken so long to finish but the customer will only let us do work on his home outside of our operating hours and it has been extremely difficult to pencil in the work before or after we are closed for the day.
We stand by our product and installation with a lifetime and transferable warranty. Although this job has had a few speed bumps along the way, in the end we hope that Geoff loves his new windows for many years to come.
