Fusion-welded frame and sash corners eliminate air leakage. Rigid silicon foam double-sealed spacer extends the life of the sealed unit and reduces cold and heat transfer. Insulating inert gas between the glass panes reduces convection heat loss. Low emissivity (Low-E) coated glass significantly reduces radiant heat loss. Multi-chamber frame design improves energy efficiency by reducing conductive heat transfer. Double or triple weather-stripping minimizes air leakage. Frame material with low conductive characteristics reduces heat loss.
